Helping Hands

Hey guys, so I don't know if any of you know about Helping Hands, and what it is. Well, Helping Hands is a little organization my best friend Kate and I started together one day in third grade. Basically what it is is an organization which writes a magazine and has bake sales and other parties and events to help raise money to help soldiers, poor people, and animals. We've donated to organizations such as Unicef, Rainforest2Reef, and World Wildlife Fund! Here are a few pictures of us working on the magazine!

I looked back at old posts. THEY WERE TERRIBLE. I was acting like... a 15-year-old. Well, was trying to act like one. You can tell it didn't work.

"My mother insisted that I must get my picture taken in this wondrous costume for Halloween." I mean, really? What is this, the 1950s?

Yeah, I know. I haven't really matured. In fact, I've become the exact opposite. It's the sad, sad, VERY SAD truth. :P

Flame Game

Our basketball team, Flame, made it to the semi-finals. We were against the blue team, but we lost. So we're out of the game, but still, we made it to the semi-finals, so I'm trying to stay positive. The blue team members are really good. We got trophies and mine's on my desk at the moment, with my others. I'll never forget almost making it to the championship game.

Getting my Fish

I'm so excited because I'm getting a fish! I have a piano recital tomorrow, and I can get a fish for a congrats! I'm so excited. I'm going to get a male betta and name it Staccato, which means bounce up and down on the piano.

Butter

This was me on Halloween 2009. I was butter and my mother had insisted that we had to get some pictures before we went out to my best friend's Halloween party. Well, that was one of them but it was so hard for me to put my hands together and run around because of my costume. But, at least everything was tons of fun!!

Where George Washington Stayed

This was where George Washington stayed during the Revolutionary War. This was the card room. My parents, my brother, and I enjoyed learning about George Washington and all the rooms in the house.
